Not knowing what to expect

To be honest, I didn't either

But I couldn't neglect

 

The urge that I felt to 

Create a surprise

For anybody who dared visit

With their internet scrolling eyes

 

As you go about the world

There's so much you will see

That will pull you away

From a feeling of peace

 

Chaos and noise

A world filled with pain

You shouldn't ignore it

But don't doomscroll in vain

 

Instead, take this moment

I'm giving you permission

To discover a new

More peaceful mission

 

Take a breath

Right now -- count to three

Close your eyes

And simply breathe

 

You are right here

You are alive

You deserve to be happy

You deserve to thrive

 

Connect to the feeling

Of who you are

This love you radiate

Will go very far!

 

It seems a small thing

To simply be

But don't underestimate

How powerfully

 

You are when you remember

That you exist

That you are alive

That today is a gift

 

You bring that knowing to 

All you meet

On every trail

On every street

 

And as you click away

And leave this page

Take with you

A knowing so sage

 

That the next moment of your life

It matters so much

And that you can bring good to every

Life you touch.
